Kate Harris, a Consulting Analyst at Richner + Richner, has over ten years of fundraising and non-profit experience as a development professional, program director, fundraising consultant, community volunteer, and board member. Prior to joining Richner + Richner, Kate served as Regional Philanthropy Officer for the National Wildlife Federation’s Great Lakes Regional Center.
She was formerly Director of Development for Ann Arbor’s Ecology Center and currently serves on the Alumni Advisory Board for the School for Environment and Sustainability. Her professional experience includes major gifts, annual fund development, stewardship, grant writing, events management, non-profit leadership, and communications.
Kate holds a M.A. in Philanthropy, Advancement, and Development from the Center for the Study of Higher and Post-Secondary Education and a M.S. in Environmental Science from the School of Natural Resources and Environment, both at the University of Michigan. She received her B.A. in French from Ohio University and is trained in leadership, facilitation, cross-cultural dialogue, public speaking, and non-profit management.
